Lourdes Casanova is the Gail and Rob Cañizares Director of the Emerging Markets Institute and Senior Lecturer at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, Cornell University. Before joining Cornell in 2012 she was a faculty at INSEAD in France. She was named as one of 50 most influential Ibero-American intellectuals, and one of 30 most influential Ibero-American women intellectuals by Esglobal. Lourdes has published extensively on emerging market multinationals, innovation in emerging markets, the political economy of Latin America, and other Latam business topics. She is the author and co-author of the Emerging Market Multinationals Report Series, 2016-present. Lourdes holds an M.S. degree from the University of Southern California and a PhD degree from the University of Barcelona, Spain.
